As always, I hope this message finds you and your family safe and well.
A quick post to inform you of the fun weekend plans that are happening this Saturday, for the first time this year, I am taking part in the Virtual Yorkshire Yarn Fest. I'll be live over on Instagram at @yorkshireyarnfestat 9.40am GMT/UK time for 15 minutes sharing lots of lovely things with you!
There will be a NEW design launched! I'm so excited to share The Trug with you - a great sized canvas basket ideal for loading up and lugging around the house with a leather handle and that's packed with lots of pockets, pattern storage, needle pockets plus a yarn holder. If you pop over to my Instagram you'll see a time lapse Reel of me emptying out the bag with everything that's packed inside. The Trug is available to order in all the usual canvas colours and I think it's a really useful item for any crafter.
I'll showing the new Making Kits over on the Live and giving you a peek of what's inside, it is basically a one stop Kit to enable you to create the most beautiful high quality Basket at home. All you need to add to the Making Kit are some basic notions and a couple hours. I'm so thankful for the response these have received and it's been wonderful seeing Baskets sewn up at home.
There are a some Baskets ready made and waiting to be shipped here in the Studio and each one is a one of kind and made using canvas and a beautiful printed fabric. The Baskets have a huge amount of room inside and are great for holding several projects or larger WIPs like garments and blankets. There are 3 outside pockets on each side, an inside pocket and a stitch marker clip holder.
Back for the first time in a long while are the Knitters Comprehensive Bags - these are always super popular and I wonder why I leave the restocking of them so long?! The bags are great for shawl and garment knitting (or crochet) and have a long zip to allow them to open wide as well as a small zipped pocket on the front for notions. Inside is another pocket along with a stitch marker holder and the on the back of the bag is a grab handle and a large clear vinyl pocket that works great for storing patterns in.
Regarding the making and turn around time for orders, the time quoted on the listing changes depending on order numbers however I always aim to get them posted far quicker (also they are made as 'first come, first served' meaning quicker I receive an order on the day, the quicker the order gets made).
As a special for the show, all weekend from now until last thing Sunday I have a discount code that you can use to receive 10% off all orders placed over £35.00. Simply enter 'yorkshireyarnfest' at checkout.
And finally there will be a Yorkshire Yarn Fest exclusive...Limited Edition Spring Basket and Bag. The organiser of the event, Sophie, always chooses a theme that vendors can take part in and this time I've made a made up Baskets and a Knitters Comprehensive Bag with the most beautiful print to get us all ready for Spring.
It would be fabulous if you could join in with the Live, as nervous as I get beforehand it's always so much fun and I really enjoy chatting with you all through the comments.
